At ABS Kids, we find our purpose in the "wow moments" our clients experience each day as they learn new skills and reach new goals. Our shared experiences are the milestones that influence our work, and the mission of supporting children with autism and their families feeds our spirit. With every "wow moment," we see our impact grow.
We are empowered by the breadth of our differences. Our mission is to create a culture where all people thrive because their diverse stories are heard and celebrated. We commit to an evolving understanding of diversity as we learn from one another.
Join us as a Behavior Technician and discover the "wow" for yourself in your career path. In this role, you will make a difference in the life of a child by implementing individualized behavior plans and protocols designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). You will provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder, helping them develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, and social/emotional skills.
This is a dynamic position where you will collect and record data on client behavior and progress while maintaining a safe and respectful environment. You will get up and down off the floor often, move quickly, and work independently to provide the best quality care. It is a role where you will learn new things every day, utilizing evidence-based methods that are based in science and proven effective.
We support you with a clear career path (LAUNCH) featuring milestones, rewards, bonuses, and promotions. You will have access to free continuing education opportunities, free CPR and safety training, and a virtual office connection to hundreds of colleagues nationwide, along with fun local events. Our Employee Assistance Program includes free financial advice, counseling support, and mental health resources.
We are committed to equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or Veteran status.
Immediate positions are available. Candidates with 6+ months of documented experience working with kids or adults with special needs are encouraged to apply for a $500 bonus after 90 days of employment.
