About the Role
This position serves as the AVP or VP MBU Claims Leader, based in Eatontown, NJ, or remotely. The successful candidate will work as part of the Operations team within the Accident & Health (A&H) division. Since 2000, the A&H division has offered a diverse portfolio of specialty insurance and reinsurance products nationwide, focusing on product development, creative distribution, and excellent client service.
In this role, you will proactively manage a team of claims professionals, including Claims Program Management, Training & Development, and oversight of Stop Loss and Travel vertical operations. You will be tasked with implementing and managing a long-term strategy that aligns with the division’s objectives, driving growth and operational excellence.

- check_circleManage audit processes to integrate quality standards and validate controls
- check_circleProvide direction on litigated, complex, and high-exposure claims
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor’s degree or equivalent required
- verified10+ years’ experience in related Medical Insurance claims roles (Medical Stop Loss or Medical Excess)
- verified5+ years of medical program claims experience, specifically within medical, healthcare, or pharmacy benefit management in any combination of carrier, TPA or MGU environment
- verified3+ years in a leadership role with experience managing people
- verifiedAdvance knowledge in Microsoft Office tools – Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- verifiedAbility to travel
