Nevada Gold Mines is on a mission to become the world's most valued gold mining business by finding, developing, and operating the best assets with the best people. Our people division is growing, and we are committed to a safe work environment where every person goes home safe and healthy every day. We strive to leave a sustainable legacy on our host communities through collaborative, diverse, and dynamic operations.
We are seeking an Autonomous Controller/Mapper to join our team at the Cortez Operations. In this role, you will be a key part of our Automation Project, responsible for operating the Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) and completing the necessary training to ensure seamless integration of autonomous technology into our daily operations.
You will act as a change agent, bridging the gap between field and office personnel to support the execution of daily plans from installation through productive haulage. Your day-to-day involves managing truck assignments, maximizing system utilization to meet production targets, and maintaining the virtual mine model map to reflect the actual operational environment. Beyond technical operations, you will help develop training models and curricula for future autonomous operations, ensuring open communication and safety leadership across all levels of the organization.
Thank you for your interest in joining Nevada Gold Mines. Please note that only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
Nevada Gold Mines is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We value a dynamic, collaborative, and high-pering team where endless opportunities to grow and learn exist alongside industry colleagues.
