The Automotive Technician plays a pivotal role within our automotive service team, serving as a vital member of a fast-paced environment. This position is designed for individuals eager to learn and develop foundational skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, you will engage in hands-on learning to address various automotive systems, participate in routine inspections, and assist in repair procedures.
Beyond technical duties, you will interact with customers to explain repair procedures, answer inquiries, and provide exceptional service. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a solid foundation in automotive repair while contributing to the overall success of our team. We offer a performance-based flat-rate pay model that rewards skilled professionals with a predetermined amount for each eligible task, fostering a culture of efficiency and ensuring you are fairly compensated for your expertise.
Candidates selected for this role will receive a $1,500 sign-on bonus (for first-time hires). The company supports your growth by paying for A.S.E. certification tests and registrations, with bonuses awarded for each test passed. 2 years of automotive repair experience, completion of a Vocational-Technical School program in a related field, demonstrated skills via third-party certificates/assessment, or A.S.E certification or equivalent external qualifications or training certifications.
