Helping the customers and businesses we serve to make better and smarter financial decisions and enabling the communities we support to grow and succeed. We believe it takes all of us to bring our shared ambition to life, and each person is unique in their potential. A career with U.S. Bank gives you a wide, ever-growing range of opportunities to discover what makes you thrive at every stage of your career. Try new things, learn new skills and discover what you excel at—all from Day One.

About the Team

U.S. Bank Corporate Audit Services (CAS) welcomes applications from talented professionals to join our growing team of audit professionals within our Technology and Operations Services Team. The Technology Services Audit team provides global audit coverage for multiple technology organizations within U.S. Bank. We are responsible for auditing core technology processes, including application functionality testing, development, change management, vendor management, and business continuity, alongside related risks and controls.

Our team collaborates closely with business partners across Consumer and Business Banking, Wealth Management, Investment Services, and Corporate and Commercial Banking, as well as Risk and Corporate Support Functions. We also drive thematic, horizontal reviews focused on cloud, data, and emerging technologies.

About the Role

As a Senior Audit Project Manager, you will lead complex, horizontal audit projects and supervise staff in the completion of audit engagements with minimal supervision from managers. This role is designed for candidates with 6+ years of experience; the successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience.

You will act as a subject matter expert, helping drive strategy and supporting multiple audit engagements covering related topics. Your day-to-day involves monitoring progress against plans, assessing work performed by the engagement team, and providing coaching and on-the-job training to ensure all engagements are completed in conformance with internal audit policies. You will handle complex tasks autonomously, influencing business line understanding of risk mitigation and partnering with Line of Business and Risk/Compliance/Audit professionals to create and maintain effective risk management frameworks.

A key part of your mission is to support third-line assurance efforts relating to large-scale cloud migrations and ongoing support subsequent to the migration. You will identify gaps, inform solutions to minimize losses, and ensure the delivery of high-quality reports with value-add recommendations and insights.

Hiring Process & Application

This role has multiple levels open to candidates with 6+ years of experience. Please note that the salary range provided corresponds to the lowest level of the position posted. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location.

If there's anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.

Location Expectations This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

Equal Opportunity & Compliance

U.S. Bank is an equal opportunity employer. We consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or veteran status, and other factors protected under applicable law.

U.S. Bank participates in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security E-Verify program in all facilities located in the United States and certain U.S. territories. We will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment, conducting background checks consistent with applicable local laws, including the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance, the California Fair Chance Act, and the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance. U.S. Bank is subject to, and conducts background checks consistent with the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act (FDIA). Certain positions may also be subject to requirements of FINRA, NMLS registration, Reg Z, Reg G, OFAC, the NFA, the FCPA, the Bank Secrecy Act, the SAFE Act, and/or federal guidelines applicable to an agreement.

Applicants must be able to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies. Please note that this posting may be closed earlier due to a high volume of applicants.
