Attorney - Sexual Abuse & Mass Tort Litigation
Overview
Adamson Ahdoot LLP, a prominent personal injury firm based in Los Angeles, is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and driven attorney to join our robust plaintiff-side practice. This role focuses on sexual abuse and mass tort litigation, offering the opportunity to advocate for survivors in high-impact, complex cases, including coordinated proceedings and multi-plaintiff litigation. The ideal candidate possesses experience in personal injury and/or mass torts and is comfortable managing cases from pre-litigation through litigation, with a strong emphasis on client interaction and case development.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high caseload of sexual abuse and mass tort matters.
- Conduct client interviews with trauma-informed sensitivity and professionalism.
- Build strong cases through liability analysis, damages development, and evidence gathering.
- Draft pleadings, demand packages, and settlement communications.
- Handle written discovery, including drafting and responding to requests.
- Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
- Coordinate with experts, investigators, and support staff.
- Participate in global settlement discussions and mediation.
- Aggressively push cases toward resolution, mediation, or trial.
- Navigate coordinated proceedings and large-scale litigation.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active California Bar license in good standing.
- Experience in personal injury, mass torts, or civil litigation (plaintiff-side strongly preferred).
- Experience with Judicial Council Coordinated Proceedings (JCCP) or similar multi-district litigation (MDL) is a plus.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required.
- Experience with sexual abuse cases, high-volume dockets, or coordinated litigation is a plus.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and case management skills.
- Comfortable handling sensitive client matters with empathy and discretion.
- Ability to manage a large caseload in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage a team.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year.
