About the Team
The Design team establishes the trends, color, and style direction for seasonal and customer-driven lines. They create apparel designs for internal trend presentations and external buyer meetings. Once orders are placed, the team manages and oversees the sample development and production process in conjunction with cross-functional partners.
About the Role
We are seeking an Assistant Intimate Apparel Designer to join the Danskin daywear team. This role may also be suitable for an Associate-level candidate with 2+ years of experience. Since 1882, Danskin has been synonymous with femininity, comfort, and quality. Widely known for its ballet roots, Danskin has evolved into the ultimate female lifestyle brand for women and girls. With soft tones and feminine details, the brand continues to create fashionable, comfort-conscious intimate apparel and sleepwear.
The ideal candidate will align with the Danskin aesthetic, be self-motivated, eager to learn, and capable of executing essential responsibilities. You will work closely with the senior team to research market trends, assist in design and line reviews, and manage production timelines. This is a dynamic opportunity to support the execution of production packages, coordinate with overseas factories, and contribute to the creative process of color and print selection.
