The Assistant Women's Soccer Coach serves as a vital member of the Parkland College Athletic Department staff, working directly alongside the Head Coach to manage the day-to-day operations of the Women's Soccer Team. This part-time, exempt stipend position is designed to support student-athletes by providing encouragement, technical guidance, and a positive role model environment.
The role emphasizes team unity and collaboration. The Assistant Coach is expected to work in good faith to enhance the team's cohesion, ensuring that all parties—players, coaching staff, and administration—have the best chance of achieving their goals. Success in this position requires the ability to work independently, accurately prioritize tasks, and adapt to a schedule established by the Director of Athletics and the Head Coach, which may include nights, weekends, and travel for matches.
