Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage and support front counter planning efforts with various public planning departments
- check_circleWrite staff reports, resolutions, and ordinances, and present them to commissions, boards, and councils
- check_circleAssist in the support of a range of planning projects and multi-agency planning efforts
- check_circleSupport the development of long-term and short-term plans, programs, goals, and policies
- check_circleParticipate in the development and maintenance of the General Plan and specialized city plans
- check_circleFacilitate meetings and presentations to discuss proposed planning initiatives with stakeholders
- check_circleDesign and conduct research to collect data from land use maps and surveys to define issues and trends
- check_circleServe as a consultant to citizen groups and stakeholders regarding zoning and environmental regulations
Requirements
