About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Director of Philanthropy, the Assistant Director of Advancement Systems and Analytics serves as a strategic partner to Elmhurst University's fundraising and donor engagement efforts. This role is dedicated to optimizing the University's constituent relationship management (CRM) ecosystem, ensuring that data integrity and system capabilities directly advance the institution's mission.
In this position, you will bridge the gap between technical administration and fundraising strategy. You will manage the day-to-day operations of Raiser's Edge NXT, providing the Advancement team with the accurate, reliable data and actionable insights needed to cultivate relationships with donors, prospects, and alumni. Beyond administration, you will act as a mentor and supervisor to the Advancement Services Specialist, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality data management.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDocument and improve CRM workflows, processes, and data standards
- check_circlePartner with advancement teams to ensure effective system use for fundraising
- check_circleExecute and document data imports, exports, and batch processes
- check_circleDevelop user guides, training materials, and standard operating procedures
- check_circleProvide frontline user support and troubleshoot system and data issues
- check_circleGenerate routine and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and fundraising metrics
- check_circleConduct prospect research to assess capacity, affinity, and engagement
- check_circleMaintain and update prospect profiles with research findings and ratings
- check_circleConduct data audits, deduplication, and quality control to ensure integrity
- check_circleSupervise and support the Advancement Services Specialist
- check_circleOversee gift processing functions including entry accuracy and reconciliation
- check_circleSupport daily administration of Raiser's Edge NXT CRM system
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in business, information systems, data analytics, nonprofit management, or related field
- verified2-4 years of professional experience in advancement services, data management and analysis, or related field
- verifiedExperience working with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge
- verifiedProficient with Microsoft Office, with strong Microsoft Excel skills
Nice to Have
Experience in higher education fundraising or nonprofit advancement. Knowledge of fundraising operations, donor lifecycle, and prospect management. Experience with data visualization, predictive analytics, basic programming, or business intelligence tools. Familiarity with data governance and best practices. Strong understanding of fundraising metrics (KPIs), campaign tracking, and pipeline management.
