About the Role

This position serves as a key member of the DACM team assigned to the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) Build LACCD Facilities Construction Program. You will be stationed at East Los Angeles College, managing the critical Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) and move management lifecycle for new, renovated, and swing space projects.

In this role, you will act as the bridge between the College Project Director, architects, contractors, and building user groups. Your work ensures that every project achieves complete functional occupancy, from the initial programming and budget validation to the final punch list and close-out. You will navigate the complexities of public contracting, coordinate complex logistics for furniture and IT equipment, and manage the transition of assets to ensure seamless operations for the college community.

Hiring Process

Candidates selected for this position will be assigned to the DACM contract with the LACCD Build LACCD program. The role is scheduled to commence in June 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleReview design documents to ensure electrical and infrastructure requirements are coordinated with vendors
  • check_circleCoordinate IT equipment budget, scope, procurement, and installation with the Technology Project Manager
  • check_circleManage FF&E programming, budgeting, procurement, and installation for new and renovated projects
  • check_circleCoordinate move management including scope creation, bid analysis, scheduling, and onsite oversight
  • check_circleManage asset tagging, surplus disposition, and key transfer for new and relocated furniture and equipment
  • check_circleMaintain comprehensive project documentation including proposals, purchase orders, and invoices
  • check_circleDevelop FF&E budgets and provide validation at key project milestones
  • check_circleCollaborate with architects and user groups to define project scope, schedule, and FF&E requirements
  • check_circleCoordinate logistics for FF&E delivery, path of travel, parking, and punch-list sign-off
  • check_circleProvide value engineering efforts to ensure project budgets and schedules are met

Requirements
