About the Role
As an Applications Engineer for the WMArchitect product line, you will be the technical heart of our single-use systems design. You will join a cooperative and encouraging team dedicated to delivering world-class service that meets the demanding needs of the biopharma and medical device industries.
In this role, you will design innovative and manufacturable single-use systems while collaborating closely with global sales teams to draw and quote solutions for our customers. You will be an integral part of the consultative selling process, managing multiple stakeholders to ensure design requests are prioritized effectively. Your day-to-day involves joining customer calls to provide direct technical guidance, troubleshooting design issues, and balancing complex factors such as lead time, cost, component availability, and ease of manufacture to find the optimum design configuration.
You will work closely with validation, quality, planning, and operations teams to ensure all components meet relevant standards and to troubleshoot technical issues during the manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDesign and draw new assembly products for the WMArchitect product line using vector design software
- check_circleCollaborate with global sales teams to evaluate design requests and provide technical guidance during customer calls
- check_circleCreate descriptive manufacturing drawings and maintain part numbers in the enterprise resource planning system
- check_circleTroubleshoot technical issues during planning and manufacture in collaboration with operations teams

- check_circleManage multiple stakeholders to prioritize enquiries and ensure appropriate resource allocation

Requirements
