API Integration Developer

About the Opportunity

Leverage your full-stack software development expertise to play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting secure API solutions within a high-availability environment. This position focuses on Broadcom API Gateway Policy Development, utilizing .NET, C#, and Java to build robust enterprise integrations. You will apply deep knowledge of Layer 7 API Gateway policy development alongside solid programming skills to ensure high performance, scalability, and compliance with modern security standards.

The Role in Context

You will operate independently in fast-paced, mission-critical environments, collaborating with application and cross-functional teams to onboard APIs and ensure seamless gateway integration. Your work will support SDLC workflows across multiple environments, integrating APIs with enterprise systems, identity platforms, and COTS products. The role demands the ability to perform API testing, debugging, and optimization, including reducing latency, tuning throughput, and implementing caching strategies.

Vetting and Security

Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client. A Public Trust determination is required for this role.

If listed as Remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility. If Hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and the needs of the role, and may also be required to work from or visit a customer facility. If Onsite, work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers.
