Key Responsibilities
- check_circleMaintain community appearance by cleaning grounds, amenities, and common areas
- check_circleRespond to resident maintenance requests and perform repairs within quality standards
- check_circleMaintain tools and equipment and assist in stocking inventory
- check_circleAssist Maintenance Manager with vendor management and ordering supplies
- check_circleIdentify and implement opportunities to improve resident happiness and service
- check_circleAssist in training and mentoring new Maintenance Technicians and Apprentices
- check_circleProvide superior customer service to internal and external customers
- check_circlePrepare apartments for occupancy by performing electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry repairs
- check_circleFoster positive relationships with residents and confirm their expectations are met
- check_circleParticipate in after-hours on-call rotation
Requirements
- verifiedMaintenance experience in multi-family, hospitality, or similar industry
- verifiedCompetency in residential plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and drywall
- verifiedValid driver's license
- verifiedRotating on-call responsibility required
- verifiedHigh school or equivalent preferred
- verifiedEPA Type II or Universal certification preferred
Nice to Have
High school or equivalent education. EPA Type II or Universal certification. Knowledge of and experience in HVAC and carpentry.
