Amazon Delivery Station Warehouse Associate

About the Role

You will be part of the dedicated Amazon team at the delivery station, the final stop before we deliver smiles to customers. In this fast-paced, active role, you will receive trucks full of orders and prepare them for delivery. Your day involves loading conveyor belts, transporting packages, and staging deliveries to be picked up by drivers. You will work alongside moving machines, including order pickers, stand-up forklifts, turret trucks, and mobile carts, using technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort and scan orders.

The environment is dynamic and varied. You may stand in one place for long periods, walk around, or climb stairs. Temperatures can fluctuate between 60°F and 90°F inside the warehouse, and may exceed 90°F in the truck yard or inside trailers on hot days. The area can be noisy at times, and hearing protection is provided if needed. While the dress code is relaxed, safety is paramount; comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required, and protective safety footwear is mandatory in select business units.
