You'll be part of the dedicated Amazon team at the delivery station, the final stop before we deliver smiles to customers. Our fast-paced, active environment is designed to receive trucks full of orders and prepare them for the last leg of their journey. We are a team that supports and listens to our associates, working together in state-of-the-art facilities that are clean, well-organized, and ranked among the best workplaces in the world.
This role is the heartbeat of our delivery network. You will receive truck deliveries, load conveyor belts, and transport and stage deliveries to be picked up by drivers. Working alongside moving machines like order pickers, stand-up forklifts, turret trucks, and mobile carts, you will use technology such as smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders. You may also build, wrap, and transport pallets and packages.
The environment is dynamic and active. Depending on the specific area, you might stand in one place for long periods, walk around, or climb stairs. Temperatures can vary between 60°F and 90°F inside the warehouse, and may exceed 90°F in the truck yard or inside trailers on hot days. While it can get noisy at times, we provide hearing protection if needed. Our dress code is relaxed but safety-focused; comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required, and in select business units, protective safety footwear is mandatory. Amazon may provide a $110 Zappos gift code to help you prepare for your first day.
We offer jobs that fit any lifestyle with great pay and work-life balance. Our schedule flexibility allows for full-time, reduced-time, or part-time hours, with options for overnight, early morning, day, evening, and weekend shifts. Some locations even offer four-day workweeks. For select employee groups, you can access "Anytime Pay" to instantly cash out up to 70% of your earnings after your shift.
Beyond the work itself, we are committed to your growth and well-being. We have made a pledge to upskill our employees with free training and development programs, and we offer tuition support for select groups. You'll have the opportunity to learn the latest Amazon technology, including robotics. Our culture is inclusive, offering a variety of DEI programs and affinity groups, ensuring you are part of a supportive team environment.
