About the Role
As an Assistant Store Manager at ALDI, you will be a vital partner to the Store Manager in driving store performance and cultivating a high-performing team. This role is designed for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, ready to step into key management responsibilities that shape the daily operations of the store.
You will work alongside your direct leader to develop and implement action plans that improve operating results, ensuring the store remains competitive within the community. Your day will involve supervising day-to-day activities, managing schedules, and maintaining the highest standards of store cleanliness, safety, and merchandising. Beyond operations, you will focus heavily on people development—identifying training opportunities, coaching direct reports, and fostering a culture of teamwork and open communication.
In the absence of the Store Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for resolving operational customer concerns and ensuring the team delivers prompt, courteous service. You will also play a strategic role in inventory management, product ordering, and providing feedback on product lines to maximize sales and freshness.

Requirements
