As an Assistant Store Manager at ALDI, you will partner with the Store Manager to drive store performance and cultivate a high-performing team. This role is pivotal in translating company strategy into daily operations, ensuring that every aspect of the store—from inventory management to customer service—aligns with our core values. You will serve as a leader who develops talent, identifies training opportunities, and fosters a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Your day will involve supervising day-to-day activities, managing schedules, and executing operational action plans to enhance results. You will act as the primary point of contact for resolving customer concerns, maintaining store standards, and ensuring a safe, clean environment. By monitoring the competitive landscape and providing product feedback, you will help shape the store's offering to meet community needs while upholding strict security and confidentiality protocols.
Training for this position will take place at a nearby location prior to the store's official opening. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and possess a minimum of three years of progressive experience in a retail environment. We look for individuals who can work independently and within a team, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to lead others in providing prompt, courteous service.
