About the Team

The Lexington Health Heart and Vascular Center is one of South Carolina's most respected cardiovascular programs. As the region's premier heart program, we combine advanced medicine and state-of-the-art technology with compassionate care to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients. Our multidisciplinary group includes 21 cardiologists providing general, interventional, and structural cardiology, heart failure, imaging, and EP services, alongside cardio-thoracic and vascular surgery teams.

Our facilities feature four catheterization suites, an advanced O-arm Surgical Imaging System, and an on-site vascular lab. We are proud to be the first hospital in South Carolina to receive the HeartCARE Center™ National Distinction of Excellence awarded by the American College of Cardiology. Our cardiologists also lead an ACC Accredited Chest Pain Center of Excellence and have received the Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award from the American Heart Association.

About the Role

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) Advanced Heart Failure Specialist to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work within a high-volume, subspecialty-rich environment that performs over 4,000 catheterizations, 1,000 percutaneous coronary interventions, and 900 implantable cardiac devices annually. The position includes access to a 3-Star Cardiac Surgery program, comprehensive vascular surgery, and ongoing clinical trials.

You will be supported by dedicated echovascular and nuclear medicine technologists, as well as a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) clinical support team. The role involves an average of 21 days of call per year (nights and weekends) and provides access to cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary rehab centers, as well as patient support groups, classes, and education.
