This position serves as a vital support pillar for the Directors of the Educational Services Department, dedicated to fostering an optimal educational environment for students. The role acts as a central hub for coordinating district-wide initiatives, managing complex scheduling for specialized programs (including Gifted, Kindergarten Early Entrance, and AZELLA testing), and facilitating professional development for staff.
Day-to-day, you will manage the logistical backbone of the department, from organizing committee meetings on curriculum and assessment to maintaining critical databases for SEI, Title I, and gifted students. The role requires a blend of administrative precision and technical proficiency, as you will support the district's educational technology applications, handle student data rostering, and provide usage analysis reports. You will also serve as the first point of contact for the department, greeting visitors, screening calls, and ensuring all correspondence and records are maintained with strict confidentiality.
