About the Role
As the Accounting Manager, you will own global fixed asset, capital project, and lease accounting. You will be responsible for governance, compliance, and decision support related to significant capital spend across multiple ERP environments. Your day-to-day will involve leading global accounting from project setup through capitalization and disposition, ensuring strict compliance with US GAAP. You will partner cross-functionally on capitalization decisions, CIP activity, useful lives, and ROI analysis, while overseeing global lease accounting under ASC 842 (and IFRS 16 where applicable).
You will serve as the primary ERP subject matter expert, ensuring data integrity across systems, and act as the lead contact for internal and external audits by designing and maintaining SOX-compliant controls. Additionally, you will support monthly and quarterly closes, perform variance analysis, and provide analytical support for capital approvals and asset optimization initiatives. A key part of this role involves leading and developing a global fixed asset and lease accounting team.
