About the Role
Horizon High School is seeking a dedicated Math Teacher to join our instructional team. In this role, you will be a pivotal support to the educational process, focused on developing student success in mathematics while fostering a safe and optimal learning environment. You will collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and community resources to improve overall student outcomes and achieve established classroom objectives.
Your day-to-day involves delivering group and individual instruction within established curriculum guidelines, differentiating classroom work to address individualized learning needs, and engaging learners through effective pedagogical approaches. Beyond the classroom, you will partner with parents and guardians to communicate student progress, advise on improvement strategies, and counsel students on personal or academic challenges. You will also participate in Professional Learning Community (PLC) teams to review data and refine instructional practices, ensuring a dynamic and responsive educational experience for every student.
