About the Role

For those who want to put their love of pets into action, there are few jobs more rewarding than that of a Veterinary Assistant at Banfield Pet Hospital. As a key member of the hospital team, you will support and assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians, ensuring the safety of pets, clients, and associates while maintaining the continuity of quality veterinary care.

In this role, you will advocate for pets and educate clients on all aspects of pet health, including the importance of preventive care and our Optimum Wellness Plans®. You will use your technical skills daily within state practice acts and NAVTA guidelines to help maintain patient flow, set up procedures, and keep treatment areas clean and organized. Beyond clinical duties, you will have the opportunity to mentor other team members and contribute to a culture defined by our Five Principles: Quality, Responsibility, Mutuality, Efficiency, and Freedom.
