We are seeking a Senior Principal Engineer to join the Apertures and RF Team. This multidisciplinary hardware team is responsible for technical subcontract management, requirement analysis, trade studies, design reviews, development, testing, fielding, integration, and operational support. You will play a key role in managing RF hardware subcontracts while contributing to satellite ground terminal architecture and system performance.
This is an onsite position located in Aurora, CO. In this role, you will lead technical subcontract management for RF hardware projects, developing resource-loaded schedules and providing briefings to program leadership and customers on status, risks, and performance. You will interface with suppliers to manage procurement activities and support the design and architecture of satellite ground terminal hardware systems.
The work involves conducting requirement analysis, trade studies, and design reviews, as well as supporting integration, testing, and hardware refresh efforts. You will ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and program requirements while traveling up to 25% as needed.
This position requires an active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance (TS/SCI) prior to your start date. U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only citizens are eligible for this clearance. The DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
