About the Testify! Initiative

Testify! is a five-year Lilly Endowment initiative dedicated to revitalizing testimony traditions in Black churches nationwide. Through artistic collaboration and digital empowerment, the project partners with churches across the country, produces city-wide events, and creates digital resources to support testimony as a spiritual formation practice.

About the Role

We are seeking a creative, mission-driven Digital Media Manager to support the Testify! Initiative. This role sits at the intersection of digital media, culture, and Black faith, supporting digital strategy and content creation for partnerships with 250 Black churches nationwide. You will help transform authentic testimonies into compelling content for growing online audiences.

The ideal candidate is culturally grounded, eager to learn, and genuinely passionate about Black faith storytelling. Whether you are early in your career or experienced, you will work alongside seasoned leadership while taking real ownership of projects that matter. You will help cultivate relationships with Black Christian content creators, develop accessible toolkits for church partners, and ensure our messaging reflects the theological integrity and cultural richness of Black faith communities.

Hiring Process

Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Qualified candidates should apply online and submit the following:

  • Resume: Highlighting relevant digital and content creation experience.
  • Portfolio: Including examples of social media content or campaigns you've contributed to, and original content demonstrating your visual design abilities.

References will be requested before any initial offers. Questions may be sent to humanresources@cts.edu.

Equal Opportunity

CTS is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate with respect to recruitment, hiring, or any other status of employment based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or any other category protected by law.
