Job Description Job Description Title: Project Coordinator Location: Stockton, CA Job Type: Full-Time In Office Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday About Us: Patriot Construction, Inc. is a federal construction firm dedicated to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. We are seeking a motivated and organized Project Coordinator to join our team and support our project management efforts. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure compliance with project requirements and schedules. Handle the submittals process, including requesting and gathering submittals from subcontractors, reviewing them against plans and specifications, and submitting them in Procore. Track submittal progress to ensure timely approval and implementation. Assist in the coordination of the RFI (Request for Information) and submittal review process to ensure timely and accurate responses. Address field issues by coordinating between subcontractors and design professionals to ensure swift resolution. Update and distribute project documents using project management software to maintain accurate and current project records. Assist in coordinating construction activities, providing clear communication to all project stakeholders. Participate in weekly project meetings, providing updates and assisting in the management of project milestones. Create meeting agendas for distribution prior to meetings and take meeting minutes for team review after meetings. Support the preparation and execution of the project closeout process, ensuring all necessary documentation and activities are completed. Experience/Qualifications: General knowledge of construction principles and building systems. Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Procore. Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to new tasks and environments. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective coordination with various project stakeholders. HS diploma or equivalent Ability to read and interpret design and shop drawings. Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting stringent deadlines.
