Job Summary As an X-ray Technician, you will play a crucial role in the medical field by performing diagnostic imaging examinations on patients to help physicians diagnose and treat various medical conditions. Performs radiologic treatments for patients. Responsible for pre-treatment services and delivery of radiologic treatment. Job details: Position: X-ray (Radiologic) Tech Specialty: Radiology Location: Brooklyn, NY 11212 Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension Shift: type 5x8 hours (40 Hrs Weekly) Shift timing: Midnight (starts from 3:45 PM) Pay details: Pay rate : $55-$60 per hour (negotiable) Bonus: up to $1000 Primary Responsibilities: Treatment of patients: -Arrange treatment appointments. -Deliver radiation to patients in accordance with physician’s instructions. -Operate all types of radiotherapy equipment, i.e., Cobalt Therapy Unit, Linear Accelerator, Simulator, etc. Pre-Treatment Preparation: -Operate simulator for localization of tumor size and position. -Takes contours and collects all physical factors for treatment plans. -Perform dosimetry for treatment plans. -Take photographs of patients for portal verifications, etc. Requirements Graduate of accredited radiologic program.
