SUMMARY Provides practice and game day training support. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Practices Show up 30 min early for practice Prepare heat for players who need it Assist in stretching players per request from coach and direction from the head Athletic Trainer Tape players at the direction of the head Athletic Trainer Assist in application of braces, compression sleeves, and other protective gear Be present at the end of practice with ice and tape removal Put away training supplies and clean up training room Games Show up 45 min early for games Fill and transport water and ice for both teams Prepare heat for players who need it Assist in stretching players per request from coach and direction from the head Athletic Trainer Tape players at the direction of the head Athletic Trainer Assist in application of braces, compression sleeves, and other protective gear Be present at the end of the game with ice and tape removal Put away training supplies and clean up training room Assist with setup before the game and takedown after the game Clean up ALL POSITIONS : Cell phones should not be used while working unless it is work-related Keep your work area clear of people hanging around SUPERVISION: Received: Receives direct supervision from the Department Trainer, Office Manager, Athletic Director, and Compliance Coordinator. QUALIFICATIONS Worker must be able to lift 40 lbs.
