We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the rehabilitation team at a premier Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). Position Summary: As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide essential rehabilitative care, helping residents regain mobility, improve strength, and achieve their functional goals. Responsibilities: Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans for residents. Provide hands-on therapy to help residents perform exercises, stretches, and other therapeutic interventions. Monitor and document residents' progress, reporting any changes to the supervising Physical Therapist. Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and safe practices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure high-quality patient care. Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely records of therapy sessions. Adhere to all state, federal, and facility regulations and standards of care. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a PTA. Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (preferred but not required). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational abilities and a commitment to patient-centered care.
