Job Description&Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/17/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Weekly Gross Pay - $2,328.16 Job Description: This is a PCU/Tele/ICU Stepdown unit. The ICU stepdown unit cares for ER Admissions and ICU transfers who have been hemodynamically stable (SBP 90mmHg or MAP 60) for a minimum of 4 hours who show no signs or symptoms of hypo-perfusion. This unit cares for medically stable ventilator patients who are trached, administers Cardiac or vasoactive drips/IV meds that are stable, such as Nitro, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Ketamine, Phenylephrine, Norepinephrine, Fentanyl, and cares for amongst other post-op, Neuro and complex patient populations. This unit is not a true PCU or stepdown unit, has higher acuity patient population. Job Requirements: 2 years exp in a progressive care or step-down unit Ventilator experience, Telemetry or step down unit experience. Experience with large hospital or level 1 centers Critical Care experience is highly preferred. Active BLS - must be AHA Active ACLS - AHA Active ND or compact state RN license Experience with vents Experience with Bipaps Experience titrating vasopressor drips - required (on resume or skills checklist) NHISS - or willing to get prior to start Experience with EPIC Shift: 12 hour shifts Rotate typically every 2 weeks EOW EOH No call Floating to over units/departments Name of Position Requirements Core Staffing Job ID 164919.
