Job Description&Requirements Specialty: CVOR Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 03/22/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel CVOR Surgical Technologist Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist with strong expertise in cardiovascular and vascular surgery. This position involves working primarily in the CVOR, with the possibility of assisting with other cases if no cardiac surgeries are scheduled. Cardiac call is required as part of the role. Key Responsibilities: Assist with cardiac surgery procedures and other types of surgeries as needed. Be on-call for cardiac procedures and assist in other surgeries when there are no cardiac cases. Ensure all necessary surgical instruments and supplies are prepared and sterile. Assist the surgical team during procedures by anticipating needs and maintaining a sterile environment. Floating within the facility to meet staffing needs, and may be required to float to sister facilities. Experience and Qualifications: 3 years of Surgical Technologist experience preferred, particularly with strong CVOR and vascular surgery experience. 18 months of experience required, with 2 years preferred. National Certifications (NBSTSA/NCCT) preferred, but not required. BLS certification required. Must be able to meet the facility's floating requirements as needed. Shifts and Scheduling: Shift: 1100-2330 with cardiac call; shift options will be discussed during the phone interview. Weekend Requirement: To be discussed with the manager during the interview. On-call Requirement: Required for cardiac cases, with details discussed during the interview. Floating: Will float within the facility and may be required to float to sister facilities.
