Overview Colliers Engineering&Design is looking for a Transportation Leader who will be responsible for the professional, technical, management, marketing, administrative and financial aspects of the Bridge and Highway Group. Expand Colliers Engineering&Design Bridge and Highway services into clients such as TxDOT and municipal government. The Regional Transportation Leader shall perform duties in support of the discipline and region. Join our Bridges&Structures team and build your career alongside the best our industry has to offer. As a leader in keeping our nation's bridges safe and functional, our bridge engineers leverage years of design experience across a broad range of bridge types and sizes. From load rating of existing structures to complex design of new structures, Colliers Engineering&Design is built to solve the most complex challenges in a fun and collaborative environment. Responsibilities Provides leadership, managerial direction and guidance for the region to achieve established goals. Directs overall productivity, profitability, client satisfaction and quality of work. Responsible for discipline marketing and business development of new and existing clients. Actively involved in the cross selling of all company services. Responsible for billings and collections. Works with the geographic discipline leaders on resource sharing and staffing needs. Responsible for regional training and staff development. Monitor staff utilization regularly and take corrective action if necessary. Complies with and ensures others compliance with all CED policies and procedures, including but not limited to the Health and Safety Program. Travels (via car or airplane) regularly to the various regions and offices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field 20 years of subsequently improving leadership and managerial experience in the industry with 10 or more years of Bridge Engineering experience. Texas Professional licensure in area of expertise. Prior TxDOT related experience is highly preferred. Skills/Abilities: Demonstrated effective leadership across large groups of employees. History of effective Business Development with clients not familiar with firm. History of building/hiring effective teams. Excellent communication skills. Strategic thinking.
