Job Title: Training, Onboarding and Quality Manager Job Number: 25AAOP12D20241126 Location: Chicago, IL, USA DISCOVER your opportunity We are seeking a dynamic and driven Training, Onboarding and Quality Manager to design and implement a comprehensive training program for our Underwriting Operations department. The Training, Onboarding and Quality Manager will partner with global teams to gather information and collaborate on the program, ensuring comprehensive support and leveraging resources to expedite the program design and rollout. What will your essential responsibilities include? Design and implement a comprehensive training program for the Underwriting Operations department, encompassing foundational knowledge of insurance principles, system training, and role-specific skills development; ensure program is scalable to support business growth and cyclical hiring. Collaborate closely with global teams (e.g. Learning and Development, Knowledge and Education and Enterprise Shared Services) to gather information and leverage resources for the rapid development and deployment of the training program, using cost-effective solutions such as Microsoft products and live webinars to ensure broad accessibility. Oversee the execution of the training program, working closely with the direct report to ensure successful implementation and delivery. Identify and address any challenges or constraints related to the development and deployment of the training program. Keep the training program updated, modify it over time, survey users, and adapt to feedback to ensure its effectiveness and relevance in the long term. Monitor quality of team’s performances, identify gaps, and incorporate into training as needed. Set “time to proficiency” targets by team; monitor KPIs and ensure progress is being made towards targets with a focus on reducing onboarding times. The role will report to the Head of Underwriting Operations. We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: A college degree and proven experience in designing and implementing training programs, particularly in a fast-paced environment. Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to partner with global teams to gather information and resources, ensuring comprehensive support for program development and deployment. Demonstrated ability to create impactful training programs using cost-effective solutions, such as Microsoft products and live webinars. Leadership skills to manage and guide a direct report who will support the execution and implementation of the training program. The U.S. pay range for this position is USD 104,000 – 182,000. Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual’s skills, experience, and location.
