Overview We are seeking highly-motivated students to join our Traffic Planning Discipline in our Austin, TX office during Spring 2025. We employ over 2,600 talented professionals who utilize the most advanced technologies to deliver customized solutions for our clients. Responsibilities Assist technical staff on day-to-day projects. Read and review project drawings and plans. Confer with engineers about preparing plans. Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D software under the charge of Engineers. Observe project sites and evaluate contractors' work to detect problems with a design. Prepare reports and document project activities and data. Prepare analyses from collected data. Set up and help maintain project files and records. Participate in internship programming, which includes opportunities to work with other interns, learn about other areas of the business, and develop valuable communication skills and networking connections. Qualifications Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with an interest in traffic planning, or a related program. Must have reliable transportation to the office. Basic understanding of AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solid problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a high-paced environment. Strong computer literacy, including MS Office. Ability to read, write, and understand English for job-related communications and instructions.
