Position: Supporting Documentation Specialist Location: Houston, TX Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm THE POSITION: We are looking for a full time (40 hours a week) Supporting Documentation Specialist to join our exceptional customer service team who is committed to helping our patients thrive. Our Customer Service department is a fast-paced, high-energy environment and you’ll find yourself challenged and required to use critical thinking every day through a variety of in-person, email and phone conversations. You will also be surrounded by a close-knit and supportive group who all have the same dedication to serving medically complex children and their families. Obtaining prior authorizations and statements of medical necessity Maintaining of patient records Patient supply&service orders Collaborate with referrals to create and streamline supporting documentation Ensure accuracy of supporting documentation to meet compliance and regulatory requirements Qualifications: Durable medical equipment (DME) intake/ admissions experience preferred Exceptionally organized, multi-tasking, problem solving and communication skills. A high level of initiative combined with a customer service mentality is also required.
