Temporary Supervisory General Engineer (Temporary Appointment) Opening Date : November 15, 2024 Closing Date : December 2, 2024 LC Organization Unit : Office of the Chief Operating Officer LC Organization Unit - Specific Office : Integrated Support Services (ISS) Grade : GS-15 Series : 0801 Availability : Open to All Duration : 180 days Integrated Support Services (ISS) is offering an opportunity for a qualified individual to serve on a 180-days Temporary appointment as a Supervisory General Engineer, GS 0801 15 (Chief of Facility Services). The General Engineer’s responsibilities include but are not limited to: Directing and coordinating construction projects Engineering assessments Space Planning Facility Project Management Technical knowledge of architecture, historic preservation and engineering concepts and procedures Facility Operations Supervision of assigned staff Supervise assigned staff up to the GS 14 level Act as selecting official on merit selection actions Provide leadership to the assigned staff Contract management Serve as COR III for assigned contracts Provide technical expertise on assigned contracts Application and Selection Process Interested Candidates should provide a resume with a one-page statement expressing interest in this opportunity, along with a description of qualifications that includes current work experience and training related to the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below.
