Seeking Statistical Analyst candidates with relevant Energy, Science, and Technology Research Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Energy, Science, and Technology Research Sector Clients such as DOEOP. JOB OVERVIEW Provide services and support as a Energy Technical Consulting (Statistical Analyst) in the Energy, Science, and Technology Research Industry Sector focussing on Business Process Solutions for clients such as Department of Energy (DOE | OP) | DOE Office of Policy (OP) Generally Located In CONUS - Washington DC and across the Mid Atlantic Region. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Performs statistical analysis to validate models and derive actionable conclusions from data sets. Align with Forecasting And Report Development Support Functional Area initiatives as a Statistical Analyst that Perform statistical analyses to validate forecast models and ensure accurate projections for workforce and economic trends. Provide Public Comment Review, Data Analysis, Modeling, Evaluation, Mapping, Forecasting And Report Development, Data Tracking Tools, Workforce Policy Analysis And Convening, as well as Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis Technical Consulting Services and support for The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Policy (OP). These services enable mission objectives involved with renewable energy, fossil fuels, nuclear energy, hydrogen, biofuels, carbon capture, energy storage, grid modernization, energy efficiency, and sustainable infrastructure technologies. Qualifications Qualified candidates must possess expertise in their respective field, with experience in energy, policy, and technical consulting. Candidates typically require a Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., energy, environmental science, policy, or engineering) and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience. Skills Required Analytical thinking, proficiency in data analysis tools, strong communication abilities, and subject matter expertise in energy and policy domains. Standard Skills Required: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills for effective team management. Outstanding time management and prioritization abilities to meet project milestones. Adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities. Ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail. Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills. Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Competencies Required Competencies include problem-solving ability, adaptability, teamwork, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of energy sector operations. Other Details The Statistical Analyst role may involve cross-functional collaboration and participation in high-level DOE strategy discussions. This role is estimated to be engaged as Part-time focusing on statistical modeling and interpretation. Due to the sensitive nature of our work, individuals must either be cleared (Secret Fcl / Top Secret Fcl) or be able to obtain and maintain a clearance (i.e. DOE Q).
