Sr. Java Developer (Hybrid) Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Developer with experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and Oracle, developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our developers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Location: Seattle, WA, USA. (Hybrid, 3 days at office) “You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.” Responsibilities: Involved in different phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and work in a highly dynamic Agile environment. Design and develop software using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices. Solve, debug and upgrade software. Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues. Makes valuable contributions to team delivery and works with team to complete tasks to high quality and actively learns new skills. Qualifications: BS/BA degree or equivalent experience (6 Years). Excellent software development experience. Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Oracle. Build and deployment tools like Jules and Jenkins. Strong communication skills and experienced in delivering projects in Scrum agile methodology. Strong Analytical skills and problem-solving. Being a self-starter, quick learner, detail oriented. Salary and Compensation The annual salary for this position is between $95K – $114,500K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
