With investment from AXA Group, this exciting growth plan means that we have an opportunity for an experienced Cyber Risk Consultant to join us and work closely with the Global Head of Cyber Consulting to develop AXA XL’s global Cyber underwriting and consulting services proposition. This strategy will ensure that AXA XL is positioned to offer clients and brokers products and services across key elements of cyber, including: Leading the development and implementation of an integrated Cyber Security Risk Management Services Methodology ensuring a consistent approach to managing cyber security risks is adopted across the business. Promote a positive cyber security risk culture with clients and ensure underwriters understand client risk profiles. Provide thought leadership, oversight, and subject matter expertise for identifying, assessing, treating, and reporting Cyber Security Risks across all Sectors in the business detailed knowledge of assets and systems. As a Senior Cyber Services Risk Advisor, you will embody these values and be responsible for the delivery of outstanding risk consulting services to underwriters and clients. This role is considered both a technical and market/customer-facing position supporting the Global Cyber Risk Consulting leader to build a robust market and client profile. What will your essential responsibilities include? Your key mission is to help build the Cyber Risk Consulting proposition, supporting our brand, team, and capabilities. Advise Underwriters on industry-specific risks and support Clients in implementing their cyber risk reduction strategy to drive AXA’s contribution to a cyber safer economy. You will meet with underwriters, brokers, and clients of the cyber underwriters to discuss specific risk consulting solutions helping clients to improve their risks. You will also talk to clients from other lines of business about their cyber risks. You will regularly visit/interact with clients to evaluate location and industry-specific risks and report your findings in a structured way back to underwriting and the client. You will help the underwriting team to enhance their risk knowledge, select profitable clients, and reduce losses. You will be working in compliance with our technical rules and guidelines. You will be sharing your knowledge and expertise with colleagues who are interested in learning about cyber risk mitigation. You will be working with our local claims team helping them to better understand the losses we pay. Your in-depth industry knowledge is key for this support. You will be building a set of cyber services that are available to clients to help them understand, manage, and mitigate their risk. You will be working very closely with AXA’s Cyber Centre of Excellence, providing them with insights into industry trends, emerging issues, and technical information. You will be reporting to the Head of Cyber Risk Consulting. We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: Cyber Security Risk Management experience across multiple organizations or lines of business. High level knowledge of cyber insurance. Experience of technical leadership across multiple stakeholder groups. Ability to consult and implement strategy in a matrix management network. Complex understanding of regulations, policy and procedures, and Risk Frameworks within a cyber-security environment. Experience of working effectively with a variety of partners from different technology and business teams. In-depth knowledge of technical security systems, security architecture, security technology, and associated penetration testing and Security Event Management methodologies. Appreciation of the potential impact of security events and ability to prioritize them. Ability to identify developing patterns and trends in data. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Desired Skills and Abilities: CRISC, CISSP, CISM, IRM or equivalent. Experience of risk management specifically in Cyber Security. Understanding of Risk Management in the context of NIST, Cyber Essentials, DEFSTAN, DFARS, ISO. You have worked in the Information Technology sector and have significant experience in systems and processes, as well as solutions to address key risks, or worked in an equivalent risk consulting position. You are used to working autonomously, you are curious and a highly motivated self-starter, you have good relationship skills and are a great team player. Proven experience at directly engaging, influencing, and managing stakeholders across departmental and organizational boundaries. Experience in articulating IS risks in business language and advising on the appropriate risk management action (Required). You are available for occasional travels (including abroad) – approximately 20%. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to create clear, concise, and engaging presentations breaking down difficult problems (Required). Capability to drive an independent workstream in the context of broader team projects. Robust knowledge of Information Security and Information Technology in relation to identification and management of risk. Robust understanding of current and emerging threats and countermeasures and the challenges to addressing these threats. You are fluent in English - other languages are a plus. Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual’s skills, experience, and location. We strive for market alignment and internal equity with our colleagues’ pay.
