The Senior Accountant will be responsible for executing specific end-of-month processes, supporting Acquisition Accounting activities, and conducting reconciliations of various balance sheet accounts. In addition, you will actively participate in both internal and external audit procedures, document SOX controls, and contribute to the overall Revenue and Receivable cycle. The success of the candidate in this role hinges upon their ability to comprehend existing operations and identify opportunities for necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with US GAAP revenue standards. It is crucial for this candidate to be proactive, hands-on, detail-oriented, and driven by achieving results. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the Medical industry. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, managing financial reporting, and providing support to the finance team. This is a permanent position with excellent growth opportunities. Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Ensure revenue recognition is in compliance with company policies and GAAP Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and other financial reports Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts Provide support to internal and external auditors Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the Medical industry Strong knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition principles Experience with financial reporting and analysis Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity in the Medical industry, we encourage you to apply for this Senior Accountant position.
