The Oxford Hills School District is seeking excellent candidates for the position of School Counselor at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School in South Paris, Maine. High School Counselors are essential in assisting students with social/emotional issues, college and career planning, academic advising, and the process of financial aid. Candidates must hold a valid Maine certificate (075) or the ability to obtain one. Successful candidates will have: Knowledge of the organizational structure and elements of a successful high school counseling program Experience with helping students navigate the college process and financial aid. Demonstrated ability in building positive relationships with students and staff through a team approach. Knowledge of the full continuum of mental health care services and the skills to be able to provide brief counseling to address social and emotional concerns.
