PIRE scientists and practitioners continually focus on the design and implementation of complex program evaluation strategies and the conduct of research related to health and social issues, and criminal justice. PIRE practitioners and scientists provide training and technical assistance in many health-related areas to states and communities that are attempting to improve public health. Position Summary Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation’s (PIRE) Southwest Center is currently searching for a Research Associate II/Training and Technical Assistance Provider who will support the Southwest Center’s implementation research program. The Research Associate II/ Training and Technical Assistance Provider will work closely with the Principal Investigator(s) and other PIRE staff. The FTE% for this professional position is 40-50% (approximately 16-20 hours per week) and is an in-person position based in Albuquerque, NM (no relocation available), with some virtual work. The salary range for this position is $30,000 - $39,000 per year. Job Requirements Master's Degree or higher Four years of experience in a research or technical assistance capacity Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Excellent verbal/written communication, organization, and presentation skills Eligible to work for any employer in the US Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 Primary Duties and Responsibilities Provide implementation coaching support to community-based organizations, health and human services providers, and other state and local agencies Collect ethnographic observational data and maintain detailed records of coaching activities Conceptualize, design, produce, and review technical assistance materials including, but not limited to, presentations, webinars, toolkits, and guidance documents Assist in collection and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data Contribute to scientific publications and other research products Exemption Type Non-Exempt PIRE is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer.
