QA Final Inspector - 15757 Description - External Perform receiving, preliminary, in-process, and final inspection authorized by the repair station. Ensure compliance with all internal quality systems, customer, and regulatory requirements. Provide corrective actions and preventive measures. Participate in recurrent instruction in accordance with the Repair Station Training Program, as applicable. Ensure all operations required to properly maintain or repair components have been accomplished. Preparation and execution of Repair, Alternation, or Maintenance Releases pertinent to all items released for service. Final acceptance of incoming material. Performance of preliminary or hidden damage inspection. Ensure rejected and unserviceable parts are marked and disposed of in accordance with current regulations and company requirements. FAA Form 8130-3. EASA Form 1. CAAC AC-038. This position requires interaction with all company departments. Qualifications - External Background in Aviation, with 18 months of experience in the procedures, practices, and inspection methods generally used in the work for which the Repair Station is rated. Procedural experience in Repair and Overhaul of aircraft hardware and inspection specifications of the same. Knowledge of applicable regulations, customer and manufacturer requirements associated with components. Identify process flow requirements for repairing components. Understand, read, write, and speak English; good communication skills (oral and written). 8130.21H. Must be able to pass an eye exam with or without correction. Aerospace experience is a plus. Engineering background is a plus. Certifications: A&P License is a plus.
