Job Description - Psychometrist II- 32 hours Weekly (240003B0) Description The Psychometrist II will assist fully-licensed neuropsychologists on the medical staff in providing neuropsychological assessments for children with learning, behavioral, and emotional disorders. Will help organize neuropsychological test materials and assist with writing test reports. 32 hours weekly Qualifications Minimum Education B.A. Psychology from a regionally accredited college or university. (Required) Minimum Work Experience 2 years Experience as a Psychometrist (Required) Required Skills/Knowledge Familiarity and training with assessment of children. Required Licenses and Certifications Psychologist Eligible for licensure as either a Psychological Associate or as a Psychologist. (Required) Functional Accountabilities Assessments Prepare test materials and room for testing prior to appointment. Collect history from child’s family, when appropriate. Perform neuropsychological testing batteries under supervision of licensed staff neuropsychologist. Score tests and record scores on Test Summary form. Organization Maintain appropriate inventory levels of testing materials. Organize testing materials. Report writing and Communication Assist in writing clear and coherent test reports. Along with the supervising staff neuropsychologists, communicate test results and recommendations to the child’s family and referring physician. Perform follow-up communications with family, when appropriate.
