The client is seeking a Policy Director to oversee decision-maker education and engagement in eastern states, as well as lead member company engagement at national and regional conferences. The ideal candidate will have experience in clean energy policy, state public utility regulation, and advocacy. They should be able to collaborate across the organization to develop and implement strategies to expand markets for the advanced energy industry and accelerate the clean energy transition. The Policy Director should be a motivated and self-starting professional with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders and decision-makers.Responsibilities for the role include leading and scaling up decision-maker education and engagement efforts in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, and New England regions. The Policy Director will also be responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand markets for the advanced energy industry. They will work collaboratively with internal teams to build on past successes and create innovative programs to drive the clean energy transition forward. The ideal candidate will be creative, flexible, and able to work effectively in various venues with decision-makers from different backgrounds.Candidates for this position should have a strong background in clean energy policy, state public utility regulation, and advocacy. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team to develop and implement successful engagement strategies. The Policy Director will play a key role in advancing the client's mission to promote advanced energy solutions and drive the transition to a clean energy future.
