Job Description Montgomery College Lifelong Learning Institute, a program serving individuals ages 50 and over with short-term/non-credit courses, seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated instructor to teach an art class, the Brain and Art. The instructor we seek must exhibit a high degree of professionalism, a solid commitment to our students, and demonstrate the ability to motivate and educate engagingly. Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver mini-lectures, art activities, and discussions for non-credit, short-term classes (6 sessions). Manage classroom. Administrative classroom responsibilities. Prepare and develop course curriculum. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in appropriate concentration or any combination of education, training and experience providing an understanding of the field. Extensive teaching experience. Proficiency in computer technology, such as e-mail and MS Office skills (MS Word and MS PowerPoint). Successful candidates will have a demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and multicultural competence in an educational and work environment and must be willing to contribute to the Colleges' strategic plan of inclusion.
