Job Description - Nurse ED Boarder (3247695) Massachusetts General Hospital has opportunities available for experienced Inpatient Nurses to care for patients who are boarding in the Emergency Department (ED) while they await an inpatient bed. The ideal candidate will be patient and family focused, have strong clinical knowledge, enjoy collaboration and be comfortable in the dynamic environment of a Level 1 trauma center. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the processes of an ED and to develop a broad range of clinical expertise in a variety of adult inpatient specialties including Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, etc. 36 or 39 hour positions are available with rotating shifts including weekends and holidays. Minimum Requirements: BS in Nursing preferred and Massachusetts License required. Must have at least one year of RN experience; 2 to 3 years of acute care experience is preferred.
