Job Overview Job ID: J38512 Specialized Area: Data Science Job Title: Machine Learning and Data Science Manager Location: Miami, FL Duration: 12 Months Employment Type: W-2 (Consultant must be on our company payroll. C2C is not allowed) This person will play a key role in ensuring an efficient, continuous supply of products while minimizing excess inventory expense by developing data-driven analytics solutions for a range of stakeholders across the organization. This is a unique opportunity to combine Data Science and Data Engineering skills to solve forecast and anomalies detection problems. Responsibilities include: Establishing analytical frameworks to drive stakeholder consensus. Regularly engaging with business teams to understand their needs, implement prototypes, and produce Machine Learning models. Implementing project management frameworks to gain consensus with key stakeholders on advanced analytics initiatives. Developing business requirements documents (BRD) and process flows for advanced analytics projects. Collaborating with other data scientists, business analysts, and EDW team members to optimize machine learning processes. Monitoring processing time for forecasting systems to improve efficiencies. Applying software engineering best practices to ensure production models are built with fault-tolerance and optimized performance. Working with the EDW team to source and centrally store key external data sets. Continually assessing, validating, and refining predictive models. Taking ownership and accountability for forecasting output. Establishing relevant error measurement metrics and closely monitoring results. Designing and developing dashboards to report analytical insights to stakeholders. Assisting in the collection and maintenance of key promotional attributes and product hierarchies.
