Job Title: Licensed Social Worker (LSW) / Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Job Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Assignment (M-F, No Weekends or Holidays) Location: Chillicothe Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for a long-term, full-time assignment working with individuals who have committed sex offenses. This position requires expertise in working with this unique population and provides an opportunity to make a positive impact through therapeutic support and intervention. The role follows a Monday to Friday schedule, with no weekends or holidays required. Key Responsibilities: Provide individual and group counseling sessions to sex offenders in accordance with treatment plans. Assess clients’ mental health, conduct risk assessments, and develop tailored treatment plans focused on rehabilitation, behavior modification, and risk management. Provide crisis intervention and ensure clients’ needs are met in a safe and supportive environment. Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Ensure accurate documentation of treatment sessions, risk assessments, and client progress in compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Collaborate with other professionals, including probation officers, case managers, and treatment teams, to ensure effective management of client cases. Stay current with best practices, legal requirements, and therapeutic methods related to sex offender rehabilitation and treatment. Provide psychoeducation on healthy behaviors, impulse control, and other therapeutic topics. Qualifications: Valid LSW or LPC license in [State]. Knowledge of sex offender treatment modalities, risk assessment tools, and evidence-based approaches. Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
