Job description Job Title: LVN/LPN Location: Newark, New York, 14513 Shift: 8 hr nights, 40 hr per week total Contract: 13 weeks Pay rate: $30 per hour and Negotiable Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Level II Trauma Center environment. The LPN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, assisting in various medical procedures and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. Job Duties: Medication and treatment administration Blood glucose monitoring and insulin administration IV meds (including IV antibiotics, Lasix, and Bumex), TPN, tube feedings Wound care (including wound measurement) Lab draws and specimen collection Foley/Cath care, trach care ADL assistance, assessment charting, incident reports Monitoring vitals, oxygen administration/management Must be able to work straight 8hr nights Must work every other weekend Must float to all units Assist CNAs during downtime Vent and Epic experience preferred Certification&License: BLS from AHA - Required LPN License PA - Required Job Type: Contract Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Health insurance Experience: LPN: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: LPN (Required) BLS (AHA) (Required) Ability to Relocate: Newark, NY 14513: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
